Letters to the editor
- Letters are the views of their writers, not of The Village News.
- We may shorten letters and correct spelling. We do not change what the writer means.
- We need the writer’s name and contact details for every letter. The editor decides whether a name may be left out of print, for a good reason.
- We do not publish letters that are defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or that attack a private person.
Comments on the website
- Comments are the views of the people who write them, not of The Village News.
- We may check comments before they appear, and we may decline or remove any comment, for example one that is abusive, off-topic, defamatory, discriminatory or advertising.
- Please do not share personal information about yourself or anyone else in a comment.
