U3A: Municipal Elections 2026

At a crossroads or in a cul-de-sac? Werner Zybrands, a former Overstrand municipal manager, will give a broad outline of the legislation that governs municipal elections. He will paint a picture of the state of local government, conjure a bright picture of all the election promises (lies?) in a variety of party manifestos, spell out the implications of the words ‘coalition government’, and crystal-ball gaze at the possible election results. Entrance fee (cash): U3A members R10.00 and non-members R25.00.
