Did you know that boules is played in Hermanus on the second and fourth Sunday of every month?
Weather permitting, players gather in Fernkloof Nature Reserve’s Amphitheatre to test their skills in a tradition played here for more than 20 years.
The match schedule includes players meeting at 12:30, with games starting sharply at 13:00. Membership is R10 a year, and the club has about 30 members.
Game-day contribution is R20, with the booty shared among the top three players – and there’s a booby prize for a bit of fun.
